Serve as a liaison between museum staff and families. This volunteer program is designed for middle and high school students and offers professional development workshops led by community leaders.
- Ambassadors require a time commitment of 60 hours across 6 months. Applications accepted all year long.
- Fellows require a time commitment of 120 hours across 1 year. Program runs from August-August and applications open in July.
Students meeting minimum volunteer hour thresholds (varies by age) are potentially eligible to receive a Presidential Volunteer Service Award certified by TCMU. Please note there are other requirements for eligibility, which are outlined here.
Support the museum’s educational public programs through a variety of volunteer opportunities. Choose from Open Art Studios, steamWORKS, and seasonal camp opportunities.
