The Accounting Manager should have knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting; knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting, finances, and taxation; as well as technical accounting skills.

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is looking for a high-energy team player to fill the full-time role of Front of House Specialist. The Front of House Specialist manages day-to-day front of house operations to ensure an excellent museum experience. TCMU is one of the nation’s largest children’s museums and serves over 250,000 visitors per year through hands-on exhibits and interactive programming.The Front of House Specialist will be a key member of the Guest Services team, leading team members by exemplifying TCMU’s core values, encouraging them to own and improve the museum experience. The right candidate will be adept at problem solving and versed in emotional intelligence interacting with colleagues, children, and the general public. Additionally, this person should have the ability to multi-task, think critically, exercise good judgement, and drive process improvements.

TCMU is looking for an energetic, creative, and hospitable candidate for Birthday Party Host. This part-time position is primarily staffed on Saturdays and Sundays, and candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule. The party hosts work within a team to create an inviting, festive environment for the birthday party children and family. They will oversee and manage completion of safe, fun, and thorough birthday parties; facilities and lead activities with the guests; and set up and clean up the birthday party environment. Candidates should be comfortable engaging with both adults and children and exhibit exemplary customer service skills, while representing TCMU is a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be a team player, and show the ability to manage conflict in a friendly manner.
