Welcome to Parent's Night Out!
New for 2024! During select evenings, TCMU-Spartanburg is offering Parents’ Night Out! From 6pm-9pm, kids will enjoy a play-based experience in an environment they known and love. The evening includes:
- Pizza
- Juice box
- Museum exploration
- Caring, attentive adults
- And more!
Space is extremely limited. Children must be potty trained to take part in Parents’ Night Out. TCMU members will be notified first when registration windows open. Please note— no refunds will be issued. Parents’ Night Out is currently only offered at TCMU-Spartanburg. Use the links below to register, or to be notified when registration opens for future dates.

How can I get help registering for Parents' Night Out?
- Parents are encouraged to register online. If you need assistance with registration, please e-mail [email protected] or come in person to TCMU-SPG and one of our Guest Services representatives will be happy to help! TCMU is not able to register for PNO over the phone.
What is the age requirement for Parents' Night Out?
- Parents’ Night Out is for potty-trained children ages 8 and under.
How do I drop my child off?
- Drop-off for Parents’ Night Out begins at 6PM.
- Walk your child(ren) into the museum to drop them off.
How do I pick my child up?
- Pick-up for Parents’ Night Out ends at 9PM.
- Guardians, please park and walk to the Admissions desk where the child was dropped off.
- Provide your child’s name and your photo ID to the staff member, and your child will be escorted to you.
- Please note, unless an adult has been added to the approved pickup list notated during registration, they will not be allowed to pick up your child.
- There is a $10 late pick-up fee issued every 5 minutes after 9PM.
What if my child needs help in the bathroom?
- All children attending Parents’ Night Out must be potty trained and independent in the restroom.
- TCMU staff will not enter the restroom with any child under any circumstances. Children must be independent in the restroom and must be able to alert TCMU staff that they need to use the restroom if needed outside of regularly scheduled breaks.
- In the event of an accident, children will need to be picked up as soon as possible.
What if I need to cancel my child's registration?
- TCMU does not offer refunds for Parents’ Night Out.
- Reservations may be rescheduled for another day of TCMU Camp, or Parents’ Night Out within one year for a $10 rebooking fee.
- In the event of a cancellation by the museum, funds may be moved to another camp or Parents’ Night Out if space is available at the discretion of TCMU.
